Year 2 Trip to Selly Manor

2 October 2015

Selly Manor

On Tuesday 29th September, Year 2SM and Y2SW visited Selly Manor, Bournville. We went into the Tudor house and learnt about how people used to live. We saw the parlour, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and attic. It was interesting to find out how the house was built too! The Tudors used oak beams, wattle and daub. Finally, we dressed up as characters from the story; The Great Fire of London. Did you know that the fire started in a bakery, on Pudding Lane? A sleepy maid left the ovens on!

A great day out was had by all.
